Homework Club

Are your kids struggling to get homework done?!? Doing homework in front of the TV?! Distracted by siblings and peers?! Leaving assignments to the last minute?!? Have no fear! Homework help is here!

The Reading Clinic is excited to announce the beginning of our Homework Club next month. We will be offering low-cost supervised homework support in a safe and positive environment. Beginning in February, students may drop-in for homework help on a first come, first serve basis between the hours of 3-6 pm Monday through Thursday. We will be offering the Homework Club for the affordable rate of $35/hr. No set schedules, no-long term commitments. Homework assignments completed before dinnertime? You bet.

The Reading Clinic's daily Homework Club will be conducted in a small group setting with 1 to 4 students and will cover all academic subjects while focusing on organization and time management skills. Upon arrival, students will meet individually with the group instructor for a "homework check-in" to prioritize and plan assignment goals for the afternoon. To keep it fun and productive, we use a points-based reward program to motivate students to stay on track and achieve their daily objectives.
