Learning to Read – Phonemic Awareness

Parents and educators will learn about the best predictor of success in reading. Topics covered will include what phonemic awareness is and why it matters, how to recognize issues with phonemic awareness, and most importantly, how to support the development of phonemic awareness in young children. We will also discuss the importance of phonemic awareness for struggling readers, regardless of their age.
